This year's Christingle Service will be held
on Sunday December 6th, at 3pm.

The idea came originally from the Moravian Church in 1747 as a symbol of Christ’s light and love. The Children’s Society introduced it to the Church of England in 1968, and it has since become a popular service for all ages.
In our parish, this year will be our 19th celebration. We can expect a full church, some rousing singing, a short play, with the congregation providing the sound effects, and the distribution of decorated oranges, topped with candles, which are carefully lit when everyone is quietly standing still.
